Overview
Nine days built around one thing: putting you where the herds are.
More than two million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle move through the Serengeti ecosystem in a continuous loop, following the rain. Lion, cheetah and hyena follow them, and crocodile wait at the rivers. It is the largest land-mammal migration on earth, and it is not a fixed event on a calendar.
That is why this itinerary keeps four nights in the Serengeti and does not fix your camps until we know your dates. Calving on the southern plains runs roughly January to March. The Mara River crossings in the north usually happen July to October. Your planner will tell you plainly which of those your travel window gives you, and where in the park you need to sleep to be within reach.
Around the migration you get the rest of the northern circuit: Tarangire for elephant, and the Ngorongoro Crater for the best black-rhino odds in Tanzania. Nobody can promise you a river crossing. We can promise you are camped close enough to go when one builds.

You will spend 2 nights exploring the wildebeest migration in close proximity. Lunch at the picnic site. When the land and rains deny growing fresh pastures and filling ponds and rivers with water, some regions of the Serengeti national park become harsh and unfriendly habitats for the wildlife living. During this time, most of the wild animals led by legendary wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles, are forced to leave the central Serengeti plains and move through the western corridor (Grumeti) to the north part in search of green pastures and water. Between late July, Augusts to October, The Serengeti northern corridor turns into a mesmerizing wildlife paradise. Thousands to Millions of wildebeests, Zebras, and other angulate animals mingle along the Mara river banks as they prepare to cross the River further to Maasai Mara Game reserve in Kenya. Remember, where there are herbivores, carnivals are just around patrolling for their kills, so expect to witness a lot of incredible scenes during your game drives. After game drives and picnic bush lunch, return to your accommodation for relaxing, Dinner and Overnight stay.
